With a strong emphasis on prevention AND disease management, the Cobham health insurance program provides comprehensive coverage to employees and their families. Offered through United HealthCare, the plan uniquely includes access to over 85% of the physicians in the Quad Cities.

Pharmacy
Prescription drug benefits are critical to our health plan. Employees may purchase their prescriptions at a variety of retail locations or by mail order. Cobham has a three-tier drug co-payment schedule:
- $10 Generic co-pay
- $20 Formulary co-pay
- $35 Non-Formulary co-pay
Mental Health & Substance Abuse
Our health insurance plan covers a wide range of services for mental health and substance abuse. These include inpatient and outpatient services. For a thorough discussion of these benefits, consult the Benefits Overview.
Enrolling in (or changing) Health Benefits
New employees have 30 days (from their date of hire) to enroll or make changes to their health, dental, vision, and flexible spending accounts. Incumbent employees have 30 days to make these changes following a qualifying life event (birth of a child, marriage, divorce, etc.).
