CLSS Announces Acquisition of ADDE, Inc. Assets

December 10, 2007

DAVENPORT, IA -- Carleton Life Support Systems Inc. (CLSS), a subsidiary of Cobham plc, is pleased to announce that today it purchased all manufacturing assets of ADDE, Inc. located in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

ADDE is a market leading manufacturer of digital drive and control modules for linear cryocoolers and serve many of the same customers as CLSS. By combining ADDE’s control module products with CLSS’s cryocoolers, CLSS will be able to offer its customers a variety of fully optimized cryocooling systems, key components in most military electro-optic infrared systems. In addition, this will simplify procurement and service logistics operations for CLSS customers.

ADDE’s business and manufacturing operations will be transitioned to CLSS’s Davenport facility over the next few months. As a result, several new skilled manufacturing positions will be added to the CLSS workforce.

CLSS will continue to support our troops by providing the highest quality cryocoolers along with advanced digital control systems for tactical infrared systems.
