Carleton Life Support Systems is a world leader in the application of air separation technology for aviation applications and in the design and manufacture of miniature sterling cycle cryogenic coolers. Bendix Aviation founded the company in 1951 and the sold the facility to Litton Industries in 1982. Northrop Grumman Corporation acquired Litton Industries in 2001 and then in August 2003, divested the Life Support division, based in Davenport, IA, to Cobham plc, Dorsett, United Kingdom. Carleton Life Support is now part of the Carleton Technologies family of companies owned by Cobham.

Ana Calderon - Final Assembler, Operations Department, 30 years of service. Ana was hired on October 29, 1974 and retired on June 30, 2006.

Wanda Faison - Final Calibrator, Operations Department, 34 years of service. Wanda was hired on July 31, 1972 and retired on August 31, 2006.

Rebecca Griffin - Parts Washer, Operations Department, 34 years of service. Rebecca was hired on August 18, 1972 and retired on August 31, 2006.

Dora Holland - Mechanical Specialist, Operations Department, 22 years of service. Dora was hired on April 24, 1984 and retired on August 31, 2006.

Jimmy Keller - Assembly Technician, Operations Department, 19 years of service. Jimmy was hired on August 31, 1987 and retired on August 31, 2006.

Betty Mathias - Electronic Specialist, Operations Department, 40 years of service. Betty was hired on September 15, 1965 and retired on August 31, 2006.

Sang Miller - General Service Specialist, Operations Department, 28 years of service. Sang was hired on February 6, 1978 and retired on August 31, 2006.

Carl Morris - General Inspector, Operations Department, 20 years of service. Carl was hired on January 21, 1986 and retired on August 31, 2006.

Mary Rife - Parts Washer, Operations Department, 40 years of service. Mary was hired on September 7, 1965 and retired on August 31, 2006.
