| Life at Life Support Carleton Life Support Systems is unique in the world of manufacturing. The work environment, the education levels and expertise of Life Support employees all contribute to a quality of work life that is difficult to find elsewhere. At Life Support, we design, develop and manufacture electro-mechanical products that have military and commercial applications. We employ approximately 300 people. Over 65% of our workforce is made up of engineers with at least a Bachelor’s degree and technicians with at least Associate’s degrees. Production workers at Life Support are highly skilled machinists and assemblers. Parts are fabricated to extremely tight tolerances and assembled using touch-sensitive processes. Our production facility is clean, safe and air-conditioned. All office areas have been completely renovated and feature 120° workstations throughout. The entire facility covers approximately 205,000 square feet under a single roof. Turnover at CLSS is low. We pay employees fairly using local, regional and national salary and wage data. We offer excellent health and welfare benefits. We have an on-site fitness center, a full service on-site cafeteria (with our own Chef) and a cutting edge health promotion program. Life
at Life Support is among the best you’d find anywhere. Thanks
to all of us, this is a great place to work. |
