LC1056 Linear Cryocooler (1/3 Watt)

Carleton Life Support Systems Inc. is a leading manufacturer of high-quality, long-life, linear Stirling Cycle Cryocoolers for domestic and foreign military applications.

The LC1056 linear cryocooler shown is a high performance, versatile configuration with an output typically exceeding 850mw, along with the flexibility provided by its Stirling design. The compact 2” long x .260 dia. coldfinger provides a stable base for focal-plane mounting in high-vibration environments and is available to be purchased as a separate component to be used as the base for building an integrated dewar assembly.

Carleton Life Support has complete cryocooler integration capabilities that allow us to maximize cryocooler performance and life, which has demonstrated to be 10,000 hours MTTF.

Applications

The LC1056 is qualified on multiple airborne applications including DIRCM (Directed Infrared Countermeasures), LAIRCM (Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures), and Litening Targeting pods.
