OR29270 Oxygen Regulator

The Life Support 29270 automatic diluter-demand pressure breathing oxygen regulator is a lighted panel instrument designed for use by aircraft crew members in high altitude flight. The regulator is installed between the supply source and crew member’s mask. Oxygen supply is provided to the regulator through the port located on the inlet assembly. A built-in pressure reducer regulates the inlet supply pressure to 50 psig [344.7 kPa]. Ambient air, used for dilution purposes, enters the regulator through an air valve located on the side of the unit. Breathing gas is delivered to the mask by means of a flexible hose attached to the outlet of the regulator. It is designed to be completely tested as installed by means of a portable field tester. This regulator is used on the E-6, F-5, T-38,
F-15 (lox), F-16 (lox), C-5, C-17, C-27, C-130, C-141, KC135, A-10, F-117, E2C and the B-52.
