OS1006 Portable Oxygen System Assembly

The Life Support Type 3261006 portable oxygen system assembly is a 100% oxygen system with a storage cylinder operating at a nominal pressure of 450 psig [3102.6 kPa], making it suitable for refilling from high pressure liquid oxygen or OBOGS systems. This assembly includes a military type A-21 regulator (part number 3260007) which is controlled by a manual selector knob with four settings - Normal (demand breathing), Emergency (13 in. [33 cm] of water), and two positive pressure settings corresponding to physiological requirements of 30,000 ft. [9144 m] and 42,000 ft. [12,802 m]. This portable oxygen system is used on the C-27J, C-5, C-17, C-130, C-141, KC135 and the B-52.
