OS1130 Regulated Emergency Oxygen System (REOS)

The REOS is an emergency oxygen system for military aircraft. This 100% oxygen system maintains a minimum outlet pressure of 45 psig [310.3 kPa] at 140 l/m flow and a maximum pressure of 90 psig [620.5 kPa] at 0 lpm from 1800 to 200 psig [12410.6 to 1379.1 kPa]. The REOS is connected to a CRU-79/P Regulator/CRU-94/P Integrated Terminal Block by aircraft hoses and quick-disconnects creating the demand-flow system. Actuation of the REOS is made by either the manual pull-ring or by the automatic lanyard during seat ejection. This oxygen system is used on the F-16.

Features:

  • 50 in3 [127 cm3] oxygen cylinder - 1800 psig [12410.6 kPa] working pressure.
  • 90 psig [620.5 kPa] maximum outlet pressure.
  • Pilot visible pressure gauge with colored regions for Full, Low Pressure, and Overpressure.
  • Standard high pressure oxygen fill connector.
  • Outlet pressure and cylinder pressure relief provisions.
  • Stainless steel body.
