RC1034 Rotary Cryocooler

The Carleton Life Support Systems Inc. RC1034 Rotary Drive Cryocooler is designed to meet the requirements of the U.S. Army’s Command Center for Night Vision and Electro-Optics (C2NVEO) specification B2-2303020104 for a miniature Stirling cycle cooler (HD-1132/UA).

Applications

Typical applications for this cooler include the AN/TAS-4A, AN/TAS-6, and the AN/UAS-12A Night Vision systems, which are used in tanks, helicopters, ships, and man-portable systems. To date, Carleton Life Support has produced over 15,000 of these cryocoolers and they are still in production today.
