SE1271 Support Equipment - Monitor/Controller Test Stand

The test stand is a semiautomatic, computer-controlled electro-pneumatic test stand. It is designed to perform functional tests, accuracy verification, and aid in fault isolation procedures on the F-15E MSOGS monitor/controller and is adaptable to other aircraft oxygen monitors. This test stand is used for F-15 MSOGS and C-130 OBOGS monitor/controller as well as depot level support of OM0063.

The following functional and performance tests can be performed:

  • Power-up-BIT Operation.
  • Back-up Oxygen System (BOS):
    • Control Tests.
    • Concentration Activation/De-Activation.
    • Pressure Activation/De-Activation.
  • Monitoring Tests:
    • Partial Pressure (PP) Oxygen Threshold.
    • Low Oxygen Shutdown.
    • BOS Pump Test.
    • Low Inlet Pressure.
    • PT1 (Outlet) Pressure Test.
    • Clogged Filter Test.
  • Initiated BIT Operation.
  • Power-up-BIT Faults Test:
    • Pressure Reducer Failed High.
    • Concentrator Outlet Pressure.
    • Concentrator Input Pressure.
    • Sensor Accuracy Test.
    • Concentrator Performance Test.
    • Pressure Transducer Test.
  • Initiated BIT Faults.
    • Concentrator Performance.
    • Pressure Reducer Check.
    • Pump Check/Operational.
    • Pump Check/Maximum Pressure.
  • Manual BIT Test.
